And so many died right along Titova   

To which I say, 'Yeah Right!'

Anything but admit to guilt

And that other one, Mladić ... Of course only HIS health matters...

http://www.rferl.org/content/bosnia_serb_general_mladic_seeks_another_trial_delay/24531827.html

And someone who is not going to Angelina Jolie's film. People who have lived through war often need to avoid war films. The former S.O. Could not watch such films.

And justice for Bosnian women is still a long way off.

Algeria did something for the female war victims right after liberation and Algeria right after kicking out the French was a poor country.

20 Years After:

Angelina Jolie's film is now out on DVD. That was abrupt.

I will try to arrange renting and watching it, so I can give my own review.

A sad anniversary and my lessons:

http://www.economist.com/blogs/easternapproaches/2012/03/20th-anniversary-bosnian-war

My lesson was to never take nothing of this life for granted. Ever.

I have to see this!

And a sadder point of unity...

http://www.worldbulletin.net/?aType=haber&ArticleID=87546

I hate to see anyone go on hunger strike! It somehow bothers me more than a lot of other things.

Montenegrin Muslims have Turkish support:

http://www.worldbulletin.net/?aType=haber&ArticleID=87396

In fact it would be good to encourage this. Iran is not a desirable influence in the Balkans.

As well, Bosnian Muslims are Sunni, not Shi'a.

The Turks are natural allies anyway.

Another war crimes related case.

http://m.roanoke.com/mapp/story.aspx?arcID=306484

And what McCain had to say:

http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2012/03/amanpour-mccains-call-to-arms-in-syria-has-echoes-of-bosnia-genocide/

I wonder however if McCain would say this under a Republican administration?

Another thing, what is going on in Syria is a LOT worse at this point!

Bosnia Hercegovina isn't an Arab country, it's in Europe. Every time the U.S. And Europe start mucking about in the Arab world, it's a Bad Thing.

Yes some form of intervention is called for, but I think it'd better involve Arab countries and possibly Turkey.

We have had rain mixed with snow here. Very cold.

Dobrodošli sine!!

My son's travel party have safely reached the Yakima Gulag.

The journey took 12 days. It might have gone more easily by camel cart.

I got the chance to introduce him around. His girlfriend and best friend hope to come spend time with me. I am totally looking forward to it!

I want to talk about the recent one man massacre of Afghan civilians, most of whom were women and children.

I am angry and disgusted. My blood boiled to read how this guy hauled a woman out of her home by her hair, how he burned bodies, and I wonder how one man could do all that?

It reminds me of stuff četniks did.

'Isolated incident' or not it was an evil and disgusting thing.

Sorry, been kind of preoccupied...

My son is on his way back to the Yakima Gulag! The trip has gone more slowly than planned, but at least they are enjoying it(mostly). Other things have been happening in my life as well. Don't worry, I will keep this blog up.
