Tony Blair comes in for a lot of criticism but I believe that the Kosovo intervention was right, and personally feel that the British did a good thing to help in Kosovo, and in Bosnia.

Green card marriages are not as effective a means of staying in the U.S. as in the past. I've heard of cases of NON fraudulent marriages not being enough to keep t he foreign partner in the U.S.! Especially this is true if the foreign partner has some political ties the U.S. finds objectionable, but even when no such thing is the case, families have been torn apart. I do NOT advise ANYONE to undertake a fraudulent marriage! It doesn't end well.
