More Real Kazakh Music
This is another piece of Kazakh music, I listened and it reminds me a lot of Irish music, there is a similar voice quality, and similar instrumentation. The video itself is BEAUTIFUL too, it gives a look at Kazakhstan itself away from cities. It shows their love of horses, and nature in general.

I agree, what a lot of people are missing is that the Borat movie has music from the BALKANS, I love Balkans music, but it makes me mad that he made no effort to have any Kazakh music, it didn't sound like how he was making fun of the Kazakh people I guess.
Incidentally these two posts got me a lot of hits thanks to the fact that Prof. Eric Gordy of East Ethia linked this, I got a higher than average number of academic visitors.
Real Kazakh music is very beautiful, and I like this particular clip a lot. The little boy on the horse is too charming for words!
