Nobiility of spirit
Perhaps some of you have been following the aftermath of the mine disaster in West Vierginia. The one survivor may have survived because the other trapped miners shared oxygen and other survival items with him. He is the father of young children and they all knew they all faced death, so they chose to help this young man. It takes a very special person to go into the mines, it's not the most dangerous job of all, but it is right up there.
So many people have to do so many dangerous things to make our comfortable life possible. We owe those people a debt of grattitude and respect.
