Inside the ICTY, thanks Slate

So now that they are off the streets and out of trouble what do accused war criminals DO while awaiting trial or being tried? This article answers all those persistant questions.

Incidenentally I think the choice of a prison warden who served in Northern Ireland was briliant, because he learned so much from the success and the mistakes, and yes as upset as anyone is by the crimes, innocent until proven guilty is the basis of European based law, and must be abided by!

Of course anyone who is proven guilty should be punished, and in my opinion severely, still, I think McFadden is right, and it looks like it works.

Might his ideas not have some validity for the larger world?
